The 226E was one of Lionel's top of the line engines in the late Prewar era and many of the tools used to make the 226 were used as the starting point for the Postwar Era 726/736 Berkshires. This powered steam locomotive features a powerful motor, reverse unit, an operating headlight, full die-cast construction, metal rods, a decorative bell, and metal wheels.
