Vintage Philips British Empire Globe pre war

A small vintage terrestrial globe by George Philips & Son Ltd, Fleet Street, London. Circa pre war showing all the continents and countries. Lithographically printed in colour, mounted on a chromed semi-meridian attached to the original stepped oak base. A cartouche bears the makers name and address.

The condition and colour are commensurate with age, expect minor imperfections throughout i. Areas of discolouring and light rubbing to paper in places which we have endeavoured to illustrate. Dimensions: 27 cm/10.5 inches (height) - 16cm x 16cm. / 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches (base).
