Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage real Bowie Knife from the Bowie Knife period. WOODHEAD 36 HOWARD STREET SHEFFIELD Spear Point Bowie Arkansas Toothpick knife measuring 9.5" overall with a double edged spear point blade measuring just under 5.5". Some scattered pitting but not a bad blade.
Nickel silver guard with separate bolster. Ball quillions on the guard. Ebony wood handle with great "wasp waist" shape. This knife is certainly old enough to have seen duty during the Civil War.
